Can you tell me where do I get auto updates for my Compaq Desktop? I've upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP and I have no sound. None of my games will play, they download and I can't go back to Windows XP. Please, help!

Firstly, identify the model number of your Compaq PC. Since these are branded PCs, you will find the model number printed on the white sticker. Use that model number and paste it on Google followed by the word drivers. You will have more luck this way.
Changed broadband provider from Plusnet to BT, computer no longer connects to the Internet, but is connected to the router. Tablet connected fine. Is there a problem with the Compaq computer?

It's possible that the network adapter is configured to use the settings from the previous ISP. Access Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections and right click the network connection used to connect to the router. Right click it, then select Properties. Double click the IPv4 option and set the IPs to be obtained automatically. After you save the changes, you will see the effects immediately. You reboot the computer if you want, but it's not that really necessary. At this point, you should have Internet connection if the router is connected to the Internet.

Alternatively, visit the HP Support page and enter the model number since COMPAQ belongs to HP: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
